Before playing the game, each player must purchase roulette chips. In land-based casinos there are usually up to 8 players on one table. To avoid disputes each player will have chips in a different color. In online casino roulette you don’t have this issue.
The objective of roulette is to predict the outcome of the white ball spun around a wheel which is separated in slots. Each slot has a particular number and color. You can place two different kinds of bets, an inside and an outside bet. Inside bets include the numbers of the game’s table layout. Bets can be placed for each number or combinations of 2, 3 and 4 different numbers at the same time.
The outside layout around the numbers offers additional betting options outside of the main playing section. The player can choose to bet on either a red number or a black number, on an odd or even number and also on low or high numbers that range from 1-18 and 19-36. Other varieties of outside bets are the so-called columns, extended lines up the body of the inside layout betting field, and dozens, which enable the player to bet on the group of first dozen numbers from 1 to 12, the second dozen from 13 to 24 or the third dozen from 25 to 36. It is now allowed to place inside and outside bets at the same time.
When the game starts you select how much you want to bet and then the dealer or croupier will start spinning the ball and announce “no more bets”. When the ball stops all the roulette payouts will be paid off... Hopefully money will be coming your way!
